Ms. Alessandra Regina D.R. Gaon is an associate of the Firm. Ms. Gaon’s area of practice includes Corporate Law, Energy Law, Energy Litigation and Family Litigation. She has experience in conducting corporate due diligence, preparing legal memorandums and opinions, as well as reviewing contracts and agreements for the Firm’s clients.
Ms. Gaon has been assisting clients in their application for a Point-to-Point transmission facility (for solar and geothermal power projects) and Power Supply Agreement approvals, which include the preparation of pleadings, as well as attendance to hearings before the Energy Regulatory Commission. Ms. Gaon also ensures that the clients comply with the submission of requirements and the obtainment of permits and licenses before various regulatory agencies. She is also assisting in expropriation proceedings for clients that were granted exclusive rights to develop wind power projects by the Department of Energy.
Ms. Gaon has incorporated Philippine companies before the Securities and Exchange Commission and handles corporate housekeeping work for the Firm’s clients. She also ensures the submission of annual reportorial requirements before the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Ms. Gaon’s practice also extends to the field of family law, where she has represented clients in family disputes such as cases for legal separation and Violence Against Women and Children cases. Ms. Gaon also has experience in the field of arbitration, where she has assisted and represented clients before the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.
