Francesco Andre T. Valdecañas is a Junior Associate whose practice focuses on litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and corporate law. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Economics, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2019, and his Juris Doctor degree from the same university in 2023. In law school, he received the Dean’s Medal for Academic Excellence and was recognized as an Araceli Baviera Awardee for Best Paper in Civil Law. He also gained practical experience as an intern with Villaraza and Angangco Law Offices, the Office of the Solicitor General, and the Energy Regulatory Commission.
His litigation work covers civil and criminal cases, as well as labor, energy, and environmental disputes. He has represented clients before trial and appellate courts, as well as the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc., the Energy Regulatory Commission, the National Labor Relations Commission, the Department of Justice, and the Environmental Management Bureau. In addition, he advises clients on general commercial law matters and has experience in project finance and corporate transactions.
