Congratulations to the Asociación Empresarial Eólica for bringing together industry leaders and innovators at the Third Offshore Wind Congress in Cadiz, Spain, to drive the future of sustainable energy. The Philippines, represented by Hon. Sharon G. Garin, Undersecretary of the Department of Energy,was part of the international panel along with Denmark, France and the United Kingdom. Usec. Garin spoke about the initiatives of the Philippine government to advance the development of offshore wind projects to achieve the country’s aspirational target of energy generation from an offshore wind facility by 2028.
Congratulations also to Maria Lethel Alburo-Mejia, Co-Head of the Energy Department of PunoLaw for her active participation during this year’s Offshore Wind Congress.
