Ms. Kristie Auriel T. Enriquez-Concepcion is a Partner of the Firm. She specializes in Corporate and Commercial Law, Telecommunications, Power, Electric Utilities and Energy, Project Development, and Privatization and Public-Private Partnerships.
Ms. Enriquez-Concepcion rejoined the PunoLaw in 2022 after serving as Director and General Counsel of Apollo Towers Myanmar Limited and Pan Asia Majestic Limited (“AP Towers”) (both independent telecommunications tower companies in Myanmar) from 2020 to 2021, as Legal and Compliance Manager of AP Towers from 2018 to 2019, and as Foreign Consulting Attorney at Kelvin Chia Yangon Limited from 2015 to 2018.
As General Counsel and Legal and Compliance Manager of AP Towers, Ms. Enriquez-Concepcion gained extensive industry knowledge of the telecommunications industry. She worked alongside with other departments of AP Towers and provided legal advice to the board and management of AP Towers on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance issues and matters. She has participated in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing of the master services agreement of AP Towers as well as other corporate, transactional, and legal documents of AP Towers.
Her practice in Kelvin Chia Yangon Limited as Foreign Consulting Attorney included providing structural and general legal advice on investment activities in various sectors, including finance (banks and microfinance institutions), power, energy, and real estate development. She was also involved in several securities transactions, including advising and assisting a Myanmar public company in the listing of its shares in the Yangon Stock Exchange and preparing transaction documents for a regional securities company intending to do business in Myanmar.
During her practice with PunoLaw from 2011 to 2015, Ms. Enriquez-Concepcion advised project owners in their power projects, from project development and project financing to the negotiation of off-take agreements. She also gained extensive experience in corporate advisory, legal due diligence, contract drafting, and assisting in general corporate transactions and activities including foreign investments, corporate structuring, project financing and refinancing, acquisitions, labor, and other commercial matters.
