Mignonette Emelaine Gail D. Balein

Ms. Balein advises public and private companies on various taxation issues, including individual and corporate taxation, tax structuring and tax planning, transactional tax, estate planning and cross-border tax planning. She also has extensive experience in project finance, having acted as borrower’s counsel or as counsel to  syndicates of Philippine lenders in several project financing and refinancing transactions, mostly in the power and energy sector. She has been involved in investment, acquisition and restructuring deals, drafting and negotiating transaction documents and contracts and  rendering transaction advice for clients in various industries, including retail, real estate, and energy.
