Roberto T. Santiago, Jr.

Mr. Santiago has assisted clients in preparing, negotiating and reviewing contracts and transaction documents. He has extensive experience in conducting due diligence and giving transaction advice in deals involving acquisitions, investments and divestments, capital restructuring, project financing and corporate reorganization in, among others, the energy and power, infrastructure, real estate and retail industries. Mr. Santiago has also advised and assisted clients in public and private biddings for infrastructure and energy projects.

Mr. Santiago also handles coporate secretarial services and advises clients on day-to-day  corporate matters.

His  engagements include representation of:

• A renewable energy company in connection with the Php6.6 Billion financing for a 132.5 MW solar energy generating facility in Cadiz, Negros Oriental, Philippines
• A renewable energy company in connection with the Php3.7 Billion financing of its 54 MW wind energy generating facility in Pililia, Rizal, Philippines
• Export-Import Bank of Korea, Asian Development Bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and other lenders in connection with the US$270 Million financing of KEPCO SPC Power Corporation’s 200 MW circulating fluidized bed coal-fired power plant in Naga, Cebu, Philippines
• Energy Development Corporation in connection with its development of a 150 MW wind energy project in Burgos, Ilocos Norte, Philippines
