On November 22, 2019, BusinessWorld published a special feature titled “Remembering George Ty: The Legacy of a Titan”. PunoLaw was one of those who paid tribute to the life and many accomplishments of Dr. George S.K. Ty, founder of Metrobank, a long-time client of PunoLaw.
From 2006 to 2014, PunoLaw Managing Partner Roderico V. Puno served as Director of Global Business Power, the power investment arm of the Metrobank/Ty Group, and from 2011-2017, Mr. Puno served as Director of GT Capital Holdings Inc., the listed holding company of all the interests of the Ty family in Metrobank, Federal Land, Toyota, and other affiliates of the group.
